Our Plumbing Department is growing by the minute and we are seeking to hire an Operations Manager who will oversee the day to day functions of both our office and field employees. We are looking for someone that will help maximize our day and meet our Sales goals, help problem solve and manage individuals.

The Big Task

The Operations manager is responsible for maximizing profit and efficiency in an ethical manner.

Provide Leadership to successfully manage, motivate and guide Service Operations.

Achieve Profit Goals.

Recruit and hire employees to ensure sufficient staffing to match the business demand and seasonal spikes.

Develop and maintain on-boarding plans for new employees.

Ensure our Service System/process is understood and executed flawlessly by all field technicians.

Manage vehicles.

Run Monday morning meetings and host training.

Manage equipment. Determine Inventory and tool requirements.

Coordinate with the CSR Manager to ensure daily call counts are met.

Manage and Train dispatchers to ensure calls are optimized and processes followed.

Create and maintain work schedules

Adhere to the company's plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably.

Overseeing the daily dispatching and inefficiencies of the service technicians and department.

Directly report to the owner and must have a strong attention to detail in relaying daily sales figures and P/L statements.


Recruit, hire, train and improve the field technicians.

Work with the dispatch department to make sure the right technician goes to the right job.

Bring more energy than you take, because you will set the tone every day for the entire department.

Inspire technicians to hit their goals.

Train, develop and hold your team accountable to exceptional performance standards.

Focus on customer service, and handle customer complaints in a timely manner.

Train and educate Field Technicians when communicating with customers in choosing service and finance options.

Manage employee schedules

Manage fleet vehicle maintenance

Keep track of tool inventory and schedule maintenance


Business experience

Understands Financials

Responsible for the bottom-line

College degree

Experience running an Operation

3 or more year’s management of a mulita million dollar company

Prior experience as a technician would be preferred.

Possess the ability to inspire both personal and professional growth in our team members.

Provide outstanding customer satisfaction.

Drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives.

Be detail oriented and a highly organized.

Must have the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.

Be proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
