We are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee our plumbing and HVAC departments for a fast-paced service company. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of consecutive experience along with an approachable personality and be self-motivated. Must work well within a team environment as well as independently.
The Big Task
You will build and lead our plumbing and HVAC service departments with the best in the business working with you.
Salary - $60,000-$80,000
Key Sub Tasks
- Focus on Sold Hour Goal Daily to achieve company goal
- Focus on technicians turning over 20% of all calls to the sales department
- Focus on 1 on 1 coaching with technicians weekly to improve their performance
- Focus on exciting and meaningful tech meetings to give direction
- Focus on being in the field with the technicians at least 3 days a week.
- Recruit, hire, train and improve the field technicians.
- Work with the dispatch department to make sure the right technician goes to the right job.
- Bring more energy than you take, because you will set the tone every day for the entire department.
- Inspire technicians to hit their goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
- You should have prior experience as a technician, and we would prefer someone with some management experience.
- Possess the ability to inspire both personal and professional growth in our team members.
- Ability to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction.
- Ability to drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives.
- Be detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.
- Be proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
