Experienced HVAC/Plumbing Service Manager Needed - Woodbridge, ON

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee our plumbing and HVAC departments for a fast-paced service company. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of consecutive experience along with an approachable personality and be self-motivated. Must work well within a team environment as well as independently.

The Big Task

You will build and lead our plumbing and HVAC service departments with the best in the business working with you.

Salary - $60,000-$80,000

Key Sub Tasks

  • Focus on Sold Hour Goal Daily to achieve company goal
  • Focus on technicians turning over 20% of all calls to the sales department
  • Focus on 1 on 1 coaching with technicians weekly to improve their performance
  • Focus on exciting and meaningful tech meetings to give direction
  • Focus on being in the field with the technicians at least 3 days a week.
  • Recruit, hire, train and improve the field technicians.
  • Work with the dispatch department to make sure the right technician goes to the right job.
  • Bring more energy than you take, because you will set the tone every day for the entire department.
  • Inspire technicians to hit their goals.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • You should have prior experience as a technician, and we would prefer someone with some management experience.
  • Possess the ability to inspire both personal and professional growth in our team members.
  • Ability to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives.
  • Be detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.
  • Be proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
